Change of Band Location

Once again, the band organisation finds itself in the situation where it could potentially become homeless.  In order to maintain practices at the Lincoln City Football Club, we will have to pay rent which would result in an unacceptable increase in subscriptions to our members.  As well as this, it appears that they storage facility which is vital to us could be lost as the football clubs strives to find storage for its own equipment.

We have been lucky enough to have an offer of a room to practice in at the Silver Sounds Social Club located at Bracebridge Heath, some of you will remember having a practice there 2 weeks ago.  The committee has made the decision to accept this offer of a practice room and with effect from Tuesday 25th September the bands will rehearse at this venue.

Please note that Tuesday practice times will all move forward by 15 minutes so Junior band practice will commence at 18:45 and senior band at 19:30, this is to allow for ongoing commitments at the club.

For those that have never been to the Silver Sounds Social Club, the directions are:

From Lincoln, St Catherines go up Cross O Cliff Hill towards Sleaford (A15) at the top of the hill go through the first set of traffic lights but get into the right hand lane.

At the next set of traffic lights, turn right (A607) towards Grantham, just after the turning and the shops on the right, turn right into the car park behind the shops and next to the school

From car park walk down the alleyway between the school and the church and the club is the wooden building in front of you.  For a map showing the location of our practice room please click here.
