The Beevor Junior Band is a trainer band made up of local youngsters between the ages of 7 and 18 who come to us because they want to learn an instrument. Before a child plays in the youth band, they will usually have spent some time working their way through the Sunday morning beginners’ class, under the guidance of Jane Parker, BA (Hons) NABBC with the assistance of members of the Lincoln Beevor Band. The children come from all backgrounds and are not selected for their musical ability.
